                            SpeakHow® Methodology

SpeakHow® has a specific methodology, registered at the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) Fundação Biblioteca Nacional (FBN) and copyright office - registration of copyrights and intellectual works of any nature.

The SpeakHow® methodology facilitates the student to learn during the class efficiently and effectively, making the student start to think only in English to speak.

Our methodology consists of making the student assimilate the English language in a natural and spontaneous way using the six fundamental parameters to understand and think in English:

  • Speaking

  • Listening

  • Vocabulary (vocabulary)

  • Reading

  • Writing

  • Grammar

In each class the teacher makes use of the 06 fundamental parameters, thus covering complete learning.

Each student absorbs the content differently, some students are auditory, others visual or even kinesthetic, so each student is unique and it is up to the teacher to discover and use the best channel for absorbing the content by the student.

Audio resourses are used in classes, such as audios and music. Both cover the grammatical content and vocabulary taught in class.

For the student to start thinking in English, SpeakHow® uses the following techniques:

  • SPMM (speaking)

  • LPMM (listening)

  • VMM (vocabulary)

  • RPMM (reading)

  • WMM (writing)

  • GMM (grammar)

The above learning techniques are registered at the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) Fundação Biblioteca Nacional (FBN) and Copyright Office and are applied in each class so that the student learns to think in English and make it fluent.

Courses are divided into six categories:

  • Job

  • Interview

  • International Exams

  • Travels

  • Portuguese for foreigners

  • Regular

After the student buys the course he already has the possibility to access the recorded classes, study and prepare for the live class online. With this methodology the class becomes much more productive, saving time to clarify doubts with the teacher at the time of the class itself (just in time - JIT).

The methodology of the work course is unique, the classes are based both on the student's area of work in the job market and on articles related to the same area and also current Breaking News reports published publicly by renowned international news such as CNN, NBC , BBC, USA Today, New York Times and others.

In the work course the student selects from the table which area of interest, example bde in order to channel learning in the area that leads to professional success.

SpeakHow's methodology for interviewing in English is based on the strategy of answering questions confidently, for which the student is trained to answer the most frequently asked questions in the interviews of renowned companies successfully to achieve the desired position.

The experience in the corporate world in this methodology prepares the student in order to answer the questions already directing to his area of expertise. In the same way that at work, the student chooses the area he wants to work in and is competing, filling the registration form with the letter "I" for the interview and the number corresponding to the area he wants to work in. Example I1 - Administrative area, I6 - logistics, and so on.

SpeakHow makes the level test available to the student free of charge so the test result indicates which points of the English language the student needs to improve.

To facilitate and also for the student to quickly become familiar with the language when closing the package, the student is entitled for free to one or two situational classes depending on the chosen course.

In the SpeakHhow methodology, the student is trained to think in English (to paraphrase) in addition, whenever there is doubt, the questions are always answered in English and the unknown vocabulary is replaced by other English words already introduced in the student's daily life.

To contribute and emphasize the methodology, the site was also built in the English version.

Part of the methodology is our passion for teaching and the pride of seeing our students achieve their goals in what depends on the English language.
